UniCamp Scholarships

Scholarship applications open June 2026

Purpose: To recognize excellence in volunteerism and giving back to the community

Awards: Two (2) scholarships:

  • One (1) $1,500 award for a Classic Camp volunteer counselor who has completed a cumulative minimum of one (1) session of UniCamp lifetime
  • One (1) $3,500 award for a volunteer Leadership, Program Director, or Older Camper Program (UniCorps or WALL) advisor who has completed a cumulative minimum of two (2) session of UniCamp lifetime

Criteria:

  1. Attending a 2-year college, 4-year university, graduate*, or trade/technical school in Fall 2026
  2. Complete at least one (1) full session in the current year as a volunteer
  3. In good standing with UCLA UniCamp

* Support for graduate school must be utilized within 3 years of award notification, allowing volunteers completing their undergraduate education time to apply and get admitted to a graduate program. Any scholarship awards not used within 3 years will be returned to the scholarship fund pool.


Presented by the Clyde and Anita Becker Foundation

Based in Tulsa, OK, the Clyde & Anita Becker Foundation supports a broad range of causes including education, volunteerism, youth, and human services throughout Oklahoma, California, and the District of Columbia.

Purpose: To alleviate the cost of higher education for graduating campers

Awards: Three (3) $1,000 scholarships

Criteria:

  1. Camper who attended and completed at least one (1) session of UniCorps in either summer 2025 or 2026
  2. Graduating high school senior attending a 2-year college, 4-year university, or trade/technical school in Fall 2026
  3. Complete at least one (1) full session of UniCamp in Summer 2026
  4. In good standing with UCLA UniCamp
  5. At or below HUD low-income threshold

Presented by the Clariant Foundation

Established in 2014, the Clariant Foundation is a purely philanthropic non-profit organization based in Switzerland. The Clariant Foundation supports funding ideas and projects proposed from individuals, organizations, and institutions, with a particular emphasis on underprivileged children and teenagers across four focus areas: Education, Culture and the Arts, Science and Research, and Social Commitment.
