Camp River Glen

The purchase of Camp River Glen was
made possible by a gift from our friends at
The Wildlands Conservancy in 1998.

Cabins
The cabins at Camp River Glen are open-air cabins that allow the campers to truly experience the outdoors. There are 10 such structures at camp, each holding 2 counselors and 10 campers.

In addition to the 10 regular camper cabins for campers aged 10-14, there are
2 winterized cabins each holding 2 counselors and
8 campers for the UniCorps Program- a program for
young adults aged 14-17.

As you enter our campsite, the first thing you see is a new bridge made possible by the gifts of our extended family, and so named after our longtime donors....Mona's Bridge.

Dining Hall
The dining hall is where all the campers, staff and counselors eat their meals (3 a day plus a snack) and also hold some of the daily programs and events. A beautiful outside eating area has been added so that everyone can now also
eat outside at picnic benches equipped with umbrellas.

What else is there to do at Camp River Glen?
The Santa Ana River also runs right through Camp River Glen. Sometimes campers and counselors spend a lazy afternoon fishing!

A pool to keep everyone cool on those hot afternoons!

There's plenty more! There is also an archery range, campfire circle and large outdoor recreation area. Camp River Glen is over 10 acres big and full of rustic charm and plenty of great activities for the campers.

Here is a model we made of the campsite to give you a better idea of the size and scale of Camp River Glen.
