Banquet

The fall time Student Recognition Banquet is held annually to celebrate the accomplishments of the previous summer’s Student Volunteers. Student Volunteers are rewarded for their level of leadership,  reaching certain fundraising goals and each session selects a single volunteer to be awarded “Goodsey Woodsey” for setting the example of what all Woodsey’s should be. In addition to these awards, awards are given out to our Top Volunteers of the Year. 

These awards are:


The Wally “Pops” Wirick Award
For leaders whose vision evolve and empowers the future of UCLA UniCamp. For being inspired and being an inspiration.

Richard "Goose" Hunting & Connie "Evi" Lau



The Adaline C. “Grandma” Guenther Empowerment Award
For helping give “the gift of a mind” through exemplary efforts in the “Kids to UniCamp” Campaign.



Current Recipient:
Ashwin "Slurpee" Batra


The Anthony D Berardo Award
For outstanding volunteer service during the 2008 camping season.



Current Recipient:
Kent "Special K" Mori
