Eligibility & ScholarshipsUCLA UniCamp has always operated with the belief that every child deserves a chance to experience an outdoor camping experience. Over the past 75 years, UCLA UniCamp has taken thousands of kids from the Los Angeles area to camp for a chance to experience “Woodsey Magic.” A week of attending UCLA UniCamp this summer will cost over $550, fortunately we have staff and volunteers that fundraise year round to provide scholarships for all of the campers that come to camp.In order to attend UniCamp this summer you must qualify to receive one of our scholarships. Children that participate in the free or reduced meal program at school or are part of a DCFS program are eligible for a scholarship that will bring the cost of UniCamp to $75 for the week of camp. Thanks to the generosity of many donors and the countless hours volunteers have spent fundraising we can happily say that we are making it so that all kids get a chance to experience camp. In addition to qualifying for a scholarship, children planning on attending UniCamp this summer must meet the following requirements: Be between the ages of 10 – 17
